Munich and Chocolate malts combine to create a darker, maltier version than its lighter counterpart, Hefeweizen. Dunkelweizen is amber-brown in color yet medium-bodied with a slightly sweet, bready flavor. This ale produces the characteristic phenols and ester found in traditional Weizens with the addition of a speciality dy wheat yeast (included).
