US GALENA
Primarily a bittering hop, Galena is fruity, candy-like, slightly citrusy and herbal. A good general-purpose bittering hop for all ales and lagers. More Galena is grown in the US than any other hop (nearly 18 million pounds in 1992). Substitutes: Eroica, Nugget, Olympic.
