US LIBERTY
Liberty is a recently released American-grown cousin of Hallertauer Mittelfruh. It is a spicy (cinnamon), resiny, pastry-like and slightly sweet. It is recommended for any German or American lager. It is quite close to the Hallertauer Mittelfruh in character, perhaps a little bit spicier. Substitutes: Mount Hood, Hallertauer Mittelfruh, Crystal (even spicier), or other Hallertauer varieties.
