US NUGGET
Floral, resiny, candy-like aroma/flavor, this hop has been used as an aroma hop by some brewers. In my opinion, Nugget has some aroma/flavor characteristics in common with East Kent Goldings. It is used primarily as a bittering hop, but it provides a very smooth bitterness despite its high alpha acid level. Substitutes: Galena or Olympic.
