US PERLE
Perle is spicy, leathery, slightly floral and fruity. It was originally intended to be a Hallertauer Mittelfruh substitute, but did not quite hit the target. It can be used as an aroma hop in German and American lagers, but some brewers feel it is a bit too rough for an aroma hop and use it just for bittering. Substitutes: Hallertauer varieties, Mount Hood, or Liberty.
