Bryan is the President and second generation family owner of Great Fermentations. He is responsible for the day to day around here, as well as the website, and pretty much everything at the office that is a computer or is connected to one; even the printers (although Bryan hates printers)!
Bryan was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and he attended Indiana University where he earned his degree in Computer Information Systems from the Kelley School of Business. His job in IT consulting kept him on the road for years and eventually landed him in Denver, CO where he found his true love in craft beer. This love, coupled with all the beer he had seen his parents brew when he was younger, got him into brewing his own. In 2012 he decided it was time to ditch the corporate suit and tie, and traded that in for jeans and a t-shirt by coming to work at Great Fermentations.
Favorite Beer: Anything Belgian (especially one that I have brewed!)
Favorite Thing to Do (other than brewing beer!): 3-way tie between skiing, camping, and golfing.
Guilty Pleasure: Binge watching Netflix.
Dirty Little Secret: I can’t grow a beard. Seriously. Anyone with suggestions/tips, please let me know.
Fun Fact: Bryan is currently working on a prototype that will allow home brewers to send digital samples of their beer for taste evaluation. He believes this will greatly enhance a brewers ability to get online help when they are trying to describe what their beer tastes like, and answer the age-old-question of “Did I screw this up?”
