John started his Bachelor’s Degree in 1982 and finished 28 years later in 2010; good thing they didn’t charge him by the month. Fortunately his Master’s only took 20 months. John spent most of his adult life in the water industry; as a treatment operator and then as a project manager in the instrumentation systems field integrating water utilities. In 2010 he began to teach Political Science at IUPUI. He came onboard with Great Fermentations in the summer of 2013 as a part time employee and now heads up purchasing (so if we’re out of something blame him). John has been making wine since 2002 and homebrewing for the last couple of years.
