Holiday Dinner Roll Workshop:
In this class we’ll cover 2 type of classic dinner rolls sure to be a hit at your holiday gatherings.
1) Crusty Water Rolls – These are the crusty, seeded rolls you get at restaurants in the baskets- only better! Crusty on the outside, soft and yeasty in the middle they are sure to please!
2) Classic Dinner Rolls- This dough can take many shapes from fan-tan, parker house or cloverleaf rolls. The recipe makes a lot of rolls and is perfect if you have a large crowd coming. Divided up, wrapped and refrigerated until needed these rolls are very convenient and flexible.
Attendees can choose to mix & knead dough in class to take home & finish or they can take the ingredients home to bake at a more convenient time. Everyone will get some fresh dried yeast to take home and experiment. Please bring a bowl with a lid if you want to mix your dough and take it home with you.
