Happy Birthday to Us!

Well because 2020 was, well you know 2020, we couldn’t celebrate our 25th year the proper way, so we’re making it up in 2021! Come celebrate 25+1 years of business with us on September 25th! Come brew beer in our parking lot, sample beers from local homebrew clubs, talk with fellow enthusiasts, or just stop by and say hello! No charge to attend the event, but please let us know if you plan to brew or just hang out for the event so we can plan accordingly.

Community Brew Day | 8AM – 2PM

Woot! Our homebrewing community was really hoping we would do Big Brew Day this year but, with the state of the world this past May, we decided against it. Since then, we’ve decided that we’re going to have our big brew day on our Anniversary. We’ll be hosting a Big Brew Day from 8AM to 2PM, and we’ll be featuring a Porter recipe by none other than the Matron Mother herself, Anita Johnson. If you register to brew, make sure to also buy a beer festival ticket so you can continue the festivities with us!

Ask-A-Judge | 10AM – 1PM

Have your beer evaluated one on one with a certified BJCP judge. Get honest and critical feedback to help improve your homebrew and get it competition ready! REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Dignitaries, Celebrities and Ambassadors.

Over the years, we’ve met some cool people. Some of those people went on to be pillars of our community. Some of them have even made a name for themselves in the brewing business itself! This is a chance to meet some of these people and even ask them a question or two. We’ll have a Professor, a Grand Master Judge, and an Engineer among others on hand to answer those questions and maybe even drink a homebrew or two. Between 10AM and 1PM, we’re going to open the classroom and have an informative session on all aspects of brewing with professionals who have reached the pinnacle of their fields. Apex Brewing Predators…so to speak.

Other happenings planned during the Celebration:

• Local Hops and Malt Vendors.
• We’ll be serving up hot dogs and hamburgers made on our awesome new pellet smoker!
• Homebrew Clubs Serving the purest form of Homebrew
• Etc, etc.

BEER FESTIVAL with GF Alumni | POSTPONED

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to postpone the beer festival portion of the event. It will be rescheduled to a later date in the early spring of 2022. Event info will be forthcoming. We’ll still be sampling some homebrew during the community brew day event, so if anything, stop by and hang out with fellow homebrewers. You don’t need to be brewing if you want to come hang out!
