We have one policy when it comes to returns: No Hassle. Whether you got the wrong product(s), something arrived broken, or the product is just not what you were expecting, we want to make sure you are happy. Just give us a call at 317-257-9463 or email us at customerservice@greatfermentations.com and we’ll get you squared away.
In keeping with our no hassle return process, you can return any product within 30 days of delivery, for an exchange or refund (less shipping charges).
The customer is responsible for return shipping charges, unless we messed up the order or an item arrived damaged or defective.
Ah yes, shipping. Since we haven’t figured out how to beam products to your front door step, we actually have to put things in boxes and send them to you the old fashioned way (this does not mean using horse and buggy). Here’s an overview of the shipping methods available to you.
Available for most orders, regardless of the order total. Products that are eligible will have the flat rate shipping image displayed on their product page. In-stock orders usually ship out within one business day. Once shipped, transit times will be between 1-5 days. Check out this page to find out the expected transit time for your location. Flat rate shipping is only available in the contiguous United States (sorry Alaska and Hawaii!)
NOTE: Shipping costs are always on the rise and we have to constantly evaluate our shipping program to make sure we are providing you the customer with a good value, while also keeping an eye on the numbers. We want to keep the flat rate program around for as long as we can, but it is susceptible to change in the future.
For orders containing products not eligible for flat rate shipping (or for Alaska and Hawaii orders), this is the most economical method. The cost will be whatever our rate for FedEx is for that shipment, and we pass our savings onto you. In-stock orders usually ship out within one business day. Once shipped, transit times will be between 1-5 days (6-7 days for Hawaii). Check out this page to find out the expected transit time for your location.
In-stock orders placed before 12 p.m. EST that selected one of the expedited shipping methods, will ship same day. Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST will ship the following day. The expedited shipping methods are only available for Monday-Friday delivery. So, if you picked overnight delivery for an order placed on Friday, delivery will be on Monday the following week, and not on Saturday.
All orders to Alaska and Hawaii are eligible for FedEx ground shipping. Transit times can be up to 7 days in some remote zip codes. FedEx expedited services are varied between the two states. See the list below:

All orders can choose the In-Store pickup option for $0. Please allow up to 2 hours for your order to be ready for pickup.
If purchasing physical gift cards only, we use the US postal service, and the shipping cost is free.
We welcome any and all orders, regardless of where they come from. If shipping outside the United States, we will contact you after your order is placed with a quote for shipping. Simply choose the “Will Contact for Shipping Quote” option.
If you need to change or cancel an existing order, simply call us at 317-257-9463, and we’ll get you straightened away. Orders typically ship out within 1 business day, so make sure to contact us ASAP. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled or changed!
