The Brewers Hut Easy Clean Plate Chiller was designed from the start to grow with your brewery. When your batch sizes increase — or you just want faster chill times — the Plate Expansion Kit lets you scale up without replacing your existing chiller. Unbolt, add plates, bolt back together. That's it.

Which Kit Do You Need?

• 4-Plate Expansion Kit — Upgrades a 12-plate chiller to a 16-plate. Increases batch capacity from 5 gallons (20L) to 5–7 gallons (25L), maintaining the same sub-10-minute chill time at 11 kW.
• 6-Plate Expansion Kit — Upgrades a 16-plate chiller to a 22-plate. Pushes capacity up to 16 gallons (60L) and bumps cooling power to 17 kW, chilling a full 60L from boiling to pitching temperature in under 20 minutes.

Why More Plates Matter

Each additional plate increases the surface area available for heat exchange between your hot wort and cooling water. More surface area means more cooling power, faster chill times, and the ability to handle larger volumes without sacrificing the rapid temperature drop that protects your beer from DMS and contamination.
