Chambourcin Fresh Juice, 5 Gallons

Fresh Chambourcin grape juice for your winemaking pleasure!  Chambourcin grapes are a French-American hybrid that was produced by Joannes Seyve in the 1860s. It is a red grape that has a very disctinctive dark coloring that leads to a deep red, almost purple color in the finished wine. It has an herbacious aroma, with rich fruit and berry flavor notes that are described as having black cherry and plum notes with a lovely spiciness. Chambourcin are sometime used to blend, but make an excellent wine by themselves. Try making with with five gallons of fresh Chambourcin juice!
