Featuring Jovaru Lithuanian Farmhouse Yeast from Omega
This isn't your normal Saison; it's brewed with Omega's OYL-033 Jovaru Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale yeast which will give this Saison a distinct flavor unlike any other. The yeast comes from the famous Jovaru brewery which has been handed down for generations, since the mid-19th century. With citrusy esters and restrained phenols, expect lemon pith and black pepper character, and a soft mouthfeel. This unique yeast complements all-styles of farmhouse beers, including Saisons. Best of all, this yeast performs well in a broad temperature range (70-95F), and won't give up like SOME Saison strains....(belgian saison, we're looking at you).
