Clean and clear! Czech Budejovice Lager Yeast from White Labs is a strain of lager yeast from south of the Czech republic. A medium attenuating and flocculating yeast, it produces dry lagers with very little diacetyl. This makes it a great strain for use in making classic crisp lagers, such as Bohemian style pilsners, Czech pilsners, classic American pilsners, and according to White Labs, this strain makes a great German Doppelbock as well! It can be used on a wide variety of lagers as well. It comes highly recommended by many brewers who use it, favoring it as their preferred lager yeast.
