Lickety-split (pseudo) lagers. Makes very clean lager-like beers at ale temps.
Krispy is a strain that ferments clean, even at ale temperatures! This strain has a high alcohol tolerance, and medium to high flocculation properties, making it the ideal yeast to create pseudo-lagers in a fraction of the time! High attenuation properties mean that this yeast will ferment out wort to a crisp dryness. This is an ideal strain to use in the creation of a range of lager beers when fermenting at ale temperatures, but can also be used in the creation of light ale styles, such as cream ale. A crisp, clean fermenting strain for your next light lager or ale!
NOTE: Based on positive customer feedback, "KRISPY 2.0" is now KRISPY and Escarpment is phasing out the original blend. KRISPY is now a single strain of lab-evolved kveik that produces drier, clearer, and more consistent beers.
