This thermometer is the perfect upgrade for your existing brew kettle. The 2.5 in. stem is great for a boil kettle or hot liquor tank, as it is easier to work around. If you are looking for a thermometer for your mash tun, we recommend the 6 in. probe (item# GF377) as it reaches farther into the center of the mash.
The thermometer has an easy to read 3 in. dial face, and sports a 1/2 in. male npt fitting which allows it to be installed on practically any homebrew kettle. A great thermometer at a great price!
