A sip of Augsberger Dark back in 1982 ignited my passion of beer. I love everything about beer; the flavor, the science, the history, the creativity, the gadgetry, and especially the people. Beer people are good people and as a homebrew retailer I am surrounded by good people from customers to coworkers.
Yeah, I am the boss but I try not to act like it. I can still throw a sack a’ grain on my shoulder and carry it out for our weaker male customers. I work behind the counter sometimes, although it stinks that I can’t complain to the boss about the Point of Sale system. You might even encounter me as an instructor of the beginning wine or beer classes. After a few samples, my jokes are much funnier.
Fun Fact: My favorite customers are the ones that share good beer with me :)
